Hi Folks and Welcome to the Goldmoon Kennels Family!

This page is full of information that may help you to get ready to welcome your new pup Before you bring him/her home!

 

*Your pup has been started in potty training

*Your pup has been exposed to everyday living noises inside and out &

introduced to new and fun stuff along the way as they grow!

*Your pup will have seen my Vet prior to leaving & will have it's

1st Vaccine, dewormed, fecal check, Nh State Health Certificate & will be Micro Chipped

(HC and Shot record in folder)

 

*Food: **You have a feeding sheet in your folder** 

(A couple days worth of food is sent in the care pack as well)

Dry ~ Nutrena Large Breed Puppy Food (Tractor supply.. Runnings)

Can ~ Purina One lamb & Rice puppy (Chewy)

 

 

Joint Supplement : Nu Joint Plus (Info and a weeks worth in Care Pack)

Pups have been started on the supplements . This is part of the Health/Hip Guarantee

Training: Positive Reinforcement Training is always the best way! 

Recommend : Flat buckle collar and Harness and flat 6 ft leash  (Harness & leash in Care Pack)

*No Prong.. Chain or E collars 

I use and Recommend Clicker training! (You will have a clicker in your Care Pack)

(look up Karen Pryor Clicker Training)

 

*Micro chip Registry: You can register your micro chip for free online with this link

*Vaccines: Your pup has had its 1st *Core* vaccine (DA2PP) (No Lepto!) at 8weeks of age

2nd vac Due: 12 weeks of age (DA2PP) 

**should deworm again also**   I Recommend 3-5 days of Panacur Granules (TS or Chewy)

3rd Vac Due: 16 weeks of age (DA2PP)

Rabies Vaccine no sooner than 5-6 mos of age

Your pup will then need Nothing for a Year : DA2PP & Rabies Vac only

Then repeat every *3* years

 

*Colors and coats

**I Do Not Guarantee Final Color or lentgh of coat when mature

Certain colors go through many color changes

Full coats can take 3-4 years

German Shepherds come in a variety of colors and coat lengths

Stock coat (short)

Long coat (lentghs and thickness can vary)

 

*How big will my puppy get??

I Do Not Guarantee how big your pup will get when fully grown (2-4 years)

I can give a general idea of an expected size based on past litters and parents size
